Is your dog looking for a friend? Do you want to see your dog socialize with other dogs?
Shake a paw is a location based social app that helps you to connect with other dogs in your area on demand. You don’t need to schedule ahead of time. Shake a paw can help find friends for your dog whenever your dog wants to play! Dogs want to play with their friends, just like us!
Background
There are countless meetup apps/websites for human. We get to meet people near us who share the same interests. It’s important that our fur friends get time to socialize with their pals too. Socialization results in a happier, more well-behaved dog. Plus, it prevents behavior problems from developing.
Dogs who are not used to socialize with other dogs are more likely to develop the problems below:
Quantitative Research
Survey results from 65 participants that have one dog or more. The goal of the survey is to understand the behavioral patterns and daily routines of the dog and the owner. From the survey, I was able to understand what the owners care about and the needs of keeping the dogs healthy. Below are some of the common answers:
